Our Yapana: an abundant and high quality harvest

Écrit par Ecosystem Laboratoire - Publié le

In Saint-Joseph on the island of Reunion, we grow our own Yapana, tended with love and respect by Mr Jacky Gigan. Our cultivation is 100% natural, so our Yapana does not contain any pesticides or chemicals.

The Ecosystem Laboratory masters all stages of the value chain, including plant cultivation. We make it a point of honour to cultivate or select high-performance plants, to monitor the plantations, all with respect for living organisms. This crucial step allows us to obtain products with an exceptional quality/price ratio.

A plant grown with love and respect for nature

One of our Yapana plantations is located in Saint-Joseph on Reunion Island. Historically, our Yapana cultivation began in Marie-Galante. Faced with the increase in our activity, we asked Mr Gigan to start a new crop, this time thousands of kilometres away from this small island near Guadeloupe.

A family plantation, the fruit of exceptional know-how

The plantation starts in July, Jacky watches his young thumbs grow with pride. With care, he proceeds to harvest in January, a few days ago, carefully avoiding the cyclones which are very frequent in this period. It is a plant that requires real know-how when it comes to harvesting the leaves. The aim is not to damage the plant, not to degrade its properties and to allow it to grow again in the following years.

A plantation that allows us to have effective and natural products

The result? Our harvests allow us to offer you several Yapana-based products: a Yapana+ herbal tea, a Body & Hand Milk and a Face & Eye Cream
