Yapana+

Écrit par Ecosystem Laboratoire - Publié le

Our Yapana+ is a unique well-being infusion made from just 4 ingredients renowned for their benefits. Grown in our own rigorous plantations, our Yapana gives this herbal tea exceptional authenticity. Want to find out more about our herbal tea and Yapana? You've come to the right place!

What is Yapana (or Ayapana)?

Yapana is a plant native to Amazonia, belonging to the Asteraceae family. It is grown in tropical regions such as Réunion and Martinique, where it is used as a medicinal and aromatic plant. Its leaves have a characteristic odour and are rich in coumarin, a substance with anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Yapana is best known for its benefits for digestion, fever, the throat and the skin. It is used as an infusion, essential oil or poultice. It is a plant much appreciated by local people, who call it a "miracle plant". Yapana has a pleasant taste and interesting effects on the body and mind.

We grow our own Yapana ourselves:

It's in our DNA to control every stage of the value chain, starting with the cultivation of the plants. We make it a point of honour to grow or select high-performance plants, and to monitor plantations, all with respect for living organisms. This crucial stage then produces products with exceptional value for money. We've been established for many years in the French overseas departments and territories, including Réunion, Guadeloupe and Martinique. So it was only natural that we chose to grow our own Yapana.

Historically, our first Yapana crop was grown on Marie-Galante. Little by little, we needed more Yapana to meet growing demand, so we launched a second crop on Réunion Island. If you'd like to find out more about this, take a look at the following article: "Our Yapana: an abundant harvest of superior quality". As you can read in this article, we use the Yapana we harvest to make our Yapana+ herbal tea, but also in cosmetics, in our body lotion for example, or in our moisturising face cream. Of course, our crops are pesticide-free!

Benefits and characteristics of Yapana+ herbal tea:

Our bulk herbal tea is much more than just a drink. It offers a rich taste and sensory experience while contributing to your general well-being. Made from 4 exceptional ingredients, this herbal tea is packed with benefits for your body. Firstly, Yapana, grown on our own plantations in Marie-Galante and Réunion, is the main ingredient in this well-being infusion. Renowned for its revitalising properties, it stimulates the digestive system, balances the body and gives you a feeling of vitality. Lapacho, a powerful adaptogen, strengthens the body's natural defences and helps it adapt to stress. It acts like a protective shield for your body. Rooibos, for its part, is naturally rich in polyphenols, powerful antioxidants that contribute to overall health by fighting free radicals and preventing oxidative damage. Finally, Green Tea, known for its soothing properties, promotes relaxation and serenity. It helps you recharge your batteries and relax after a long day.

How do I use Yapana+ herbal tea?

Thanks to its bulk format, you're free to dose the amount of preparation you brew to suit your tastes and needs! On average, we recommend that you use around one tablespoon of Yapana for every litre of water. Leave to infuse for a few minutes to release all the aromas and benefits. Want to be original?
